WATER: Gutters

Fundamentally, gutters collect rainwater from your roof and channel it to the ground through a downspout. They are easy to install and can prevent some heartache. But why is this important for a barn?

Here are a few reasons:

  • Keeps foundation from eroding

  • Keeps water out of stalls

  • Prevents a sheet of water falling from the roof

  • Prevents dry rot

  • Keeps mold and condensation at bay

  • Allows collection of rainwater
